Abstract Submission

Submission of abstracts via the online system on the meeting website is the only valid way to submit an abstract. Abstracts sent by e-mail or regular mail independently of the system will not be accepted.

Abstracts to be presented at the meeting must be in the form of experimental studies, clinical studies or original case reports that may contribute to scientific advancement and should clearly convey a take-home message.

POINTS TO CONSIDER FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
  • If you are using the online abstract submission module for the first time, please register in the system by clicking the “New User” link.
  • After completing the registration process, the explanations on the page will guide you. Please read all messages and instructions carefully.
  • As abstracts submitted online will be printed as they are received, attention must be paid to spelling and typing errors.
  • Please keep the confirmation e-mails sent to your e-mail address after submitting your abstract.
  • You can follow the entire evaluation process related to your abstract through the system using your e-mail address and password.

WRITING GUIDELINES
  • Abstracts will be collected via the online abstract submission system.
  • Academic titles should not be used in author names.
  • Names should be written in lowercase letters with only the first letter capitalized.
    • Example: Emine Al
  • The full name and address of the institutions where the authors work must be indicated.
    • Example: Xxxx University Faculty of Medicine, Xxxx Department, Istanbul
  • Only the first letter of the abstract title should be capitalized (abbreviations are an exception).
    • Example: Xxxxx xxxx xxxxxx xxxxx xxx XXX xxxx xxxx
  • If abbreviations are used in the abstract, the full term should be given in parentheses at first mention.
  • The abstract should briefly state the aim and methods of the study, summarize the findings with sufficient numerical detail, and present the conclusion within the framework of the reported data.
  • Abstracts should be structured under the following headings: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
  • The total length of the abstract (excluding title, name and surname of the author) must not exceed 3000 characters.
  • Any abstract that does not comply with these guidelines will be excluded from evaluation regardless of its content.
EVALUATION OF ABSTRACTS
  • Evaluation will be performed online by a committee consisting of members of the Scientific Committee, with the names and institutions of the researchers kept confidential.
  • For an abstract to be considered for evaluation, at least one of the researchers must have completed the congress registration process.
  • The results of the evaluation will be communicated to all authors.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the presentation type of abstracts and to decide whether they will be presented as oral or e-poster presentations.
  • Abstracts that receive an award in either the oral or poster category will be announced at the closing session on the last day of the meeting, and the award will be presented to the first author listed on the abstract.
  • We kindly request that all authors take into account the type of presentation indicated in the evaluation result letter and prepare their presentations accordingly.
